But Spring was here today.
We went to an MPA picnic.
Lucy played at the park.
We took a blanket out to the grass.
Lucy complained about the bugs.
We didn't clean the house. We did have a really good laugh (about a spoon clattering on the floor and...never mind), and we did watch the kite fliers and make enchiladas for dinner and sing along to The Secret Garden soundtrack. When it was time for bed Lucy said, "You can leave the songs on to help us fall asleep."It was our first spring Saturday. And it was pretty much perfect.

Suzy is right on....just want to take a little bite. He is adorable, but then so are you, Wes and Lucy. I'm so glad you keep your posts coming because they make someone far away very very happy. I can't tell you often enough how much I love the little Truman clan.
Yesterday was a lovely day here, too, and we went to the park (I need up load and post my pictures on MY blog). Glad you have a lovely day; sorry that it won't come again for some weeks.
It was SO good to see your family and hold baby Truman!!! SO PRECIOUS!! Jared asked me how Lucy was and if she remembered me. Well, hopefully Spring comes soon hu?

I am glad that I don't have the only child who complains about the bugs, except Madelyn doesn't just complain she goes hysterical if there is a mosquito anywhere nearby which makes for an interesting summer.
It was a beautiful day yesterday and then there is today...what can you say for Utah weather!

Just home from the Draper Temple Dedication.... Sacred--like Family.
Loved the picnic people.... However, as I type this, I am looking out the window at an almost blizzard. Wheeee (No bugs though! )
We had great weather this weekend as well. I wish I had spent more of it outside! Love Spencer's chubby knees!
Suzy took the words right out of my mouth. We call Adam Chubs all day but I think Spencer wins the prize! I shouldn't read your blog anymore cause it just makes me want to jump in the car and drive up there...maybe I should :)
