Apples Red...

...and apples yellow,
Round and juicy, sweet and mellow,
Load the trees till they bend over
And their branches brush the clover.

Child, be glad with all that lives,
But forget not God, who gives.
(Love the song and the girl. And the apples.)

Words and music: A. B. Ponsonby
P.S. I've been subbing as the Nursery song leader this month. Oh, my heart! Who knew that was the best and sweetest calling in all the church?!

Oh my goodness, that is so so cute!!! After Jessica and I watched the video over and over and over, Jessica said, "I want to sing that song!!" Do you think you could teach her? :) Actually as we speak she is singing and acting out some song, but it's not a real song. Thanks Lucy for being such a great example! You are too cute!

After 25 years in Primary Music, "I" knew that was one of the very choice callings in the church! Loving music and loving children kinda go together as you see.

I simply wept with joy hearing one of those 'resurrected songs from MY past come forth with our little Angel Lucy.

Yum. Fresh apples are great! I don't think I have heard that song before. It is nice though and Lucy does a good job singing it. And those jackets from China are pretty cool too.

That was so sweet. I love apples in the fall. In fact, I have two boxes of them in my garage waiting to be turned into applesauce.

I keep coming back to listen to her sing because it puts a smile on my face amid the stressful, busy week. Beautiful.

Thank you, Lucy, for sharing. Thank you Lori for posting. Thank you Wes for teaching me, by your example, of what it means to be a righteous husband and father. May God be with you all at this time. You are in my thoughts and prayers daily. Love you guys! :o)

Fall and apples and Lucy! So lovely.

And yes. Come--I will save you a cookie and we will have a cozy chat.

That pretty much sounds like perfection to me. Love.

Just so you know, we've watched this 25 times +. Azure keeps asking to watch "Lucy sing about apples." Lucy is a wonderful singer! She must get her beautiful voice from her mother :) Thank you for sharing your life with us via the blog!
