Everyone has difficult days and yesterday was a difficult day for your dad and me (for non-medical reasons! please don't everyone start worrying!) - a difficult day made worse because we weren't together (Dad at Huntsman/Mom at work). But something kept brightening me out of my disappointment:

You, with your glittery hands (from making ornaments) and your sticky smile (from eating candy canes).You, with your cheery voice saying, "This is our favorite song, huh, Mom?" when the Christmas music comes on the car stereo.
You, with your little notes on the computer that say things like:
You bring such happiness to our home and to our hearts, my dear.

Funny....I detected a bit of a discouraging day without your having to mention it.

Love you friends...having a bit of the blues ourselves. but despite the fact that we still don't have a tree up...(shocking, I know) I am loving this time of year...wish I could borrow Lucy to give a us a little bit of cheering up ;)
