My brother Mark and his family delighted us all with a surprise visit from San Antonio
(don't you love little Abby - a true Texan at one-an-a-half - lapping up salsa like it was mother's milk! She couldn't quite convince Spencer, though)...
...so our celebration of the New Year included a spontaneous (and so fabulous) weekend retreat at my sister's condo in No. Utah.
What I don't have pictures of: the gorgeous afternoon we all spent sledding on uncrowded hillsides, the village of snow forts, the snowball war, the gigantic snowmen.
It was such fun, that afternoon in the snow. A true highlight of the season.
I do have a few pictures of the post sledding down time (we were all pretty beat!)...
...and I have some of the game playing...
...and there's one shot of the movie goers (Princess + Frog)...
...but there are no shots that really capture the fun and the L O V E!!! So you'll just have to take my word for it: It was fun. And there is LOVE.

I love the post and can imagine how much fun it was. Love that your parents took the kids to see the movie.
