We did.
It was fun.
Someday we're going to do really cool eggs. Like with silk ties (did you do that again this year Heather and Royce? Probably not since you're doing the whole world's taxes, huh? Sigh.).
Anyway, I love beautiful eggs. Lucy had fun reading The Bird's Gift this year and learning a little about the Ukrainian tradition of gorgeous painted eggs. (Couldn't find Rechenka's Eggs. Think she'd have liked that one as well. Next year!)
Hope you had fun dying, too! (And hope your kids are eating up their masterpieces better than mine are! How come kids don't like the yoke? I never did either.)

Yes, one day we will make really cool eggs... like the silk ones... or anything featured in Martha Stewart. But for now we use crayons and kool-aid :)
we had a great time dying eggs. we use good ol' PAAS. My kids won't eat eggs in any form...except to dip in ketchup and lick it off :)
so sorry to have missed you last night...we'll leave Wes out next time!
I attempted some silk ties with my mother-in-law and sister-in-law. Unfortunately only one worked out--the other patterns were just to big and dark (e.g. stripes). I left it up to my mother-in-law to bring the ties since I didn't want to spend the money at DI, so that's what I get I guess.
Hey, just realized I should have responded to your comment on my blog here...but I didn't and responded on my own...go there to find out the info on my end!
