Disneyland: Day II

Mint julep, anyone?

When you're in your thirtieth year of life, you should spend a day at Disneyland with a group of your best friends, don't you think?

Tower of Terror.  Notice Wes's floating penny:

What is the saying?
Young at heart??

At dinnertime we diversified the ages a little by meeting up with our kiddos and their babysitters (ahem, grandparents).

Over dinner, Lucy told us about her afternoon at the hotel.  It included a little Peter Pan peanut butter, a chance meeting and mini pre-school session with Grandma Jean and the twins, and then this exciting tidbit:  when she got out of the bath, she found her princess gown laying out with her glass slipper and a note thanking her for taking such good care of the slipper and inviting her to Disneyland one last time!

(The note should have also been signed Ryan and Amy, as they were predominantly responsibly for Lucy having entrance into the park Saturday night).

Grandma Packer said Lucy read and read and reread the note (she can still recite it from memory).  She was thrilled at the prospect of visiting the park again.  Wes and I (and all the other big kids) were thrilled to have her!

She is, after all, one of our very best friends.
