Disneyland: The Drive & The Dinner

We stayed overnight in Gunlock on our way to CA.  Grandma wondered why I brought my hot glue gun.

It was pretty much Mickey Mouse Clubhouse in the car from then on (while Wes and I read The Mysterious Benedict Society).

When we arrived at The Castle Inn and entered our "family suite," Lucy rushed to the window for a moment, then threw herself gracefully onto the bed saying, "I feel just like a princess!"

After baths, we got down to some serious Disney business.

Destination?

Highlights included characters,

(Dale was by far the most delightful)

(Although Pluto crawling and carrying on with Spencer = CUTE.)

goofy food (for the kids - good food for the adults),

smiles,

smiles,

smiles,

and smiles.

Mmmmmm.
Happy memories.
More on Monday!

You made the ears? Way cuter than the ones you buy! I love them!

My mom would be jealous to know you got to see Snow White. She was looking for her in the parks all that weekend!I will have to tell her about "Goofy's Kitchen"

A and R have asked to see pics of "Spencer" and "Lucy" all week! When I ask who Wes is, they usually say Daddy...gotta love the dark curls our boys have :) They were super thrilled to see that Spencer knows Goofy...and Chip n Dale? aren't they the best?
