Christmas stockings were the extent of our holiday decor this year (besides a nativity - of course we set up a nativity!). I pulled them out of hibernation the Sunday after Thanksgiving and whispered excitedly to the kids, "Let's hang our stockings!!"
"Hang" apparently didn't register with Spencer.
But he does know what to do with "stockings."

Hope I can manage to chronicle ours! It was full of joy and love and gratitude and chaos. All the things Christmas should be =).

Ok, Spencer is hilarious! And Christmas stockings are surely festive enough to make you remember it's the Christmas season.
