Thanksgiving 2009: Miscellaneous

Feels like November lasted about a half hour.
Sheesh!
It was sure fun! Our Provo November was beautiful. Crisp, but not cold. A bit blustery. No snow until we headed north... (On Thanksgiving morning, Lucy was out in the snow before she was even dressed! There's nothing like a holiday!)During the break we spent a little time at the Museum of Church History and Art...

You see Lucy there in the corner, un-enthralled with the gorgeous, larger than life Moroni statue: "Ummm, can we go on the moving stairs again?"
Spencer, on the other hand, appreciated the art very much. "AAAAAr!"

(They both had fun at the I Am a Child of God exhibit.)
And Wes and I had a fun date to see The Blind Side. Fabulous movie.
And how 'bout those Cougs?!!!!
My brother Brent hosted us for the game. You'll note that even the angel atop his Christmas tree was showing a little school spirit. I put a few cougar paws on Lucy's cheeks before the game. All night she asked me, "Are my paws coming off?" But she didn't actually watch the game...

Her loss. (She might disagree...)
Turns out we were minus a few fans at our football party. My brother-in-law spent game day in the hospital being treated for a heart attack (?!!). We were all so concerned, but after prayers and blessings, and some great medical care, he and my sis were back home the next day. And that was the final and most celebrated event of our Thanksgiving season!

A heart attack?! Scary! I hope he's okay!
And the game WAS exciting... William wasn't too thrilled about it either but I do believe he watched the very end.

Which brother-in-law? Scary! Glad he's home so quick. Thanks for posting all these cute pictures. I love that Lucy went out in the snow in her PJs and boots.
