President Faust

We feel just a little closer to heaven this morning as we think of and honor President James E. Faust at his passing. We mingle our heartfelt tears and smiles with yours and we lift our voices (or tap our keyboards) in testimony of his calling as an apostle of our Savior Jesus Christ.

Wes and I truly believe "that a man must be called of God, by prophecy, and by the laying on of hands by those who are in authority, to preach the Gospel and administer in the ordinances thereof. (Ariticles of Faith)

We have long loved President Faust, and have revered his counsel, as one so called and authorized to represent our Savior on the earth.

We will miss his cherished voice, his twinkling smile, his powerful testimony of Christ.

We thank God for living prophets.

Wes and Lori,
Thank you again so much for being so generous in putting us up. The boys LOVED it and enjoyed so much being able to hang out on the campus! It was so fun to see you all and see darling little Lucy in person. I hope we left everything okay. Thanks again for your kindness!
love you all,
Laurie
p.s. I'm with Phoebe, I think those pictures of Lucy and the tomatoes belong in a magazine. You're a great photographer as well as writer!

I wanted to say something regarding our beloved Elder Faust.... but, you said it. It is tough to say good-by to people who stir heavenly strains within our hearts. He did.
