Pumpkin Fun, Part II

Felt pumpkins...

Fabulous fun!
We inherited a felt board from Grandma (thanks mom!) and Lucy loves to create (and recreate) Jack-o-Lantern faces!
But in the absence of a felt board, the floor works fine!
So Simple. So fun! (and reusable projects are the best kind, right?!)

How fun! Did you come up with that on your own Lori, just run to the fabric store, pick out some felt, cut different shapes, and have hours and hours of fun?? You are genious (and even if it wasn't you're idea, still genious to have the get up and go to actually do it!)

Jeanine - STEAL AWAY! I use every idea you post about! This is my fav part of blogging: fun (different!)ideas to try!! ;)

CJ - yeah, I claim it as my idea, but only with the SURE knowledge that it has been done a thousand times by a thousand diff. moms! And I tell you, a trip to "Robert's Craft" is not a grueling a task...more like a guilty pleasure! :)

okay, I love felt boards. and to add to the creativity...my mom used to use old cardboard pencil boxes (you remember the kind?) and put felt on the lid inside, and then the pieces were in the box all ready to go. this was our Sunday quiet activity. Each box had its own theme: scripture stories, farm animals, etc. I LOVED them.
