Pumpkin Fun, Part I

Yesterday we took our little pumpkin out to pick her very own little pumpkin...
Some of them were heavy...
...but she managed.

The wagon did most the work.
(wink wink, Wes!)
Huge pumpkins...
Happy pumpkins...

Home-bound Pumpkins...

Priceless pumpkins.

I love it. Pumpkin picking is always fun when you have an enthusiastic child with you. I love the felt pumpkins. Perhaps I will venture out to get some felt because I know that Madelyn would love it. Just need to find a felt board, couldn't be that hard to make right.

Spencer made us replay the Lucy video 5 times. :0) I'm just saying...I think there's a future there.

What delightful October activities. Did I tell you we followed suit and made newspaper ghosts the other day? Now we may just have to delve into felt pumpkins. I love it!

Well, I think since you ran short on time to truly expereince the pumpkin patch, that you should go back again, and invite your Carter friends, just a suggestion... :-)

Heather - I'm sure you could construct a felt board! And you're right: pumpkin picking (and pretty much every activity) is fun with an enthusiastic little one!

Marie - you make me laugh and laugh! Lucy will be SO FLATTERED by Spencer's attention!! :) And I"m HAPPY if you're enjoying the halloween ideas! Yea for sharing! (loved the delish teriyaki recipe you posted several weeks ago!)

Jeanine - YES! Please post about your pumpkin patch adventures! Cause I can't get enough of William and James, either! Wes and I both love you "picture of the week" idea...so fun to see your boys!

Vicky - I'm sure Ben will love the pumpkins!! Please share pictures when you and Paul go! (and maybe we should alo try to orchestrate another HA outing...I know CJ is planning on going with her girls???)...

right, CJ?! :)
We're up for a revisit! And mornings would be warmer (Lucy's little hands and nose: cold and RED while we were there!) Have fun at aerobics today (dah! :)

Loved that video. I love that she kept looking out the window...that girl doesn't miss a thing! Wish it were cold enough out here to enjoy the pumpkins...we're getting there though :) Love and miss you all.

Maria - I love fall too! We're going to make your cookies this week! :)

Lindsay - The nursery was WAY fun, we're going to go back! Thanks for the recommendation!

Lu - Lucy was so happy to confide her "hurt" in you last night on the phone :)

Amy - it is COLD here. We half expected to have you show up for some mattress sledding this weekend!

Okay, the our computer speakers are working now, so I watched your video and oh. my. word. You never told me Lucy was THAT adorable! (Okay, maybe you did.) I loved it! She's an absolute doll!

Wouldn't you give a bajillion dollars to see yourself at 2 1/2 saying the cutest things about hugging pumpkins?! I would--my parents didn't have a video camera until I was 17! What gifts for grown-up Lucy!
