Oh how I love it! My favorite is the P holding a U, with 3 arms? Kids' creativity is amazing to me!
So darling!
Adorable!
Very cute...she really is quite the artist. So fun!
So, so wonderful! I hope you save those things forever (or at least the photographs). I love her self portraits!
You are such a great mom and she is so smart! Those drawings are priceless!
What a wonderful artist. I will be waiting for her to become famous and then say I know her, she's played at my house!
Hey Lori, I am in desperate need of some articles, anything really, on the 2nd Article of Faith. Everywhere I look I get a dead end (perhaps I am doing it all wrong when I search). The Primary Presidency has been asked to speak on the 13th of April and that is our subject. If you know of anything that would help, let me know!!
I love the pencil-to-hand size ratio - are pencils really that big or are they those special awesome HUGE ones? Or does Lucy have very small hands?
So cute.
Adorable. She has excellent fine motor skills!
Wow, she is versatile! I think some of my 2nd graders could learn a few things from Lucy lu!
I am very impressed with all her detail and ability to draw figures. i had to laugh at your first pictures. my Lily had hands just like that last night...she decided to have the red art on her hands rather than the paper...a washable 'tatoo' we'll call it.
I love that you have all the different perspectives of her using different art mediums...it would make an awesome scrapbook layout. so cute!
That is AMAZING! Little Lucy is so skilled at such an early age. Way to encourage her creativity..."Truman family room, daily." So wonderful.
Lucy you are an artist just like your daddy! Hours and hours drawing away! I especially like your self-portraits! Love you, grandma lu
Totally unrelated...
You are an amazing mother to little Lucy. (reading the quote wall for April) Your daughter is wonderful, delightful, and a joy. Everyday I read your blog and try to think of ways that I can become a better mom to my children. Thanks for your example.
Heather - thanks for your sweet words. Being at your house the other day inspired me with the same "I want to be a better mom" feelings...Love how cute and organized you are! =)
And about the 2nd Article of faith question...I've been thinking about it! I don't personally know of any articles that singularly address the subject. But I know that in last month's (March's) Ensign (especially Elder Holland's and Elder Packer's talks)there were a lot of references to the fall and the atonement, how the atonement liberates us from the consequences of Adam's "separating transgression" (temperal and spiritual death) so that we have the agency to make and be held accountable for our own decisions -so that we individually have an OPTION - so that we can choose to be again "at one" with God through Christ's atonement, or to refuse Christ's offering and to suffer even as He suffered (D&C 19). Seems like that's really the message of the 2nd A of F.
I'm sure you'll find great stuff for your talk!! And I can't wait to hear your thoughts and perspectives on the subject. Do some posting about what you find, eh??
I know I've said this before, but you have a future artist on your hands! Seriously, I'm in awe at how skilled she is for how young she is. You'll have to save all these drawings because someday they'll be worth lots of money ;).
