I'm assuming Lucy came up with the name--I love it! Royce and I were going to grow a tomato plant, but we were a little late in getting our act together. Next year . . .
We plan on it! But I heard you had problems with bugs and the plant falling over? Sad! I guess Abendego got too big! (sorry if you didn't want that part disclosed in your blog you can delete this comment if so).
Well shoot! We would have drove by after dinner then and got some, but from what Wes said (on the phone earlier today) it sounded like there wasn't much left. Ah well. Sorry we missed you, hope you are feeling better.
Hurray for garden tomatoes! Looks like your tomato plant did a lot better than ours this year. But I guess that is what we get for trying to grow a tomato plant on a covered patio on the north side of an apartment building; there just isn't much sun there.

Of all the growing things, Lucy, you and your Spud are my favorite, but I do love tomatoes!

How long did it take for that little tomato plant to grow? I am really curious as i want a tomato plant! Lucy is too cute.
Royce, we planted in May, had our first tomato in August, and now they're starting to ripen by the handful! Get over here and get yours!

Royce - yes, abednego is huge! And we've lost a few fruit to bugs - but by and large, he's doing really well! We have lots of tomatoes to share!
