We did a little finger painting in the morning. (Spencer's first. I still love this recipe!)
After our masterpiece dried, we cut it to make palm branches.
Our afternoon was busy at the park and at the church. Then we came home for a little Jerusalem feast (this year we had goat cheese, olives, cucumbers, and lentil soup with flat bread. Dried apricots for dessert. We loved this tradition! Someday we'll eat on the floor!)
After dinner we went through the gospel art kit pictures of the Savior's last week. Lucy was so attentive and the two of us had such a meaningful discussion (while Wes chased Spencer around the house. Thank you, dear!). We hung the picture of Christ's burial on the clipboard in Lucy's room. Spencer pointed to the Savior, wrapped in white, and said, "Chee--leep!" Jesus sleeping.
After the kids were asleep, Wes crept into the room and exchanged the burial picture with the one of Christ and Mary. Then we went to bed too. With happy, grateful hearts.

Precious... Meaningful...
Hi Lori, is that link supposed to be a recipe for finger paint?? It doesn't work for me. Could you pass it along to me?
Just want to say how sweet your family is. I hope you're doing well.
