Spring & Easter, Etc: Easter Morning

(She's really under there!)

We had a delightful morning.

Eggs full of Cheerios, among other surprises.

For her:

She was excited about her Little Lamb book. Thank you, Blurb! Pretty sure the back cover is my favorite.

For him:

Lest you think me anything akin to a good mother, let me confess that the toothbrush in that basket is Spencer's first. I promise he got his teeth really late! But I know. It's no excuse. You should hear him when we brush his teeth, though.
He giggles.

After the basket festivities, we moved on to breakfast. I overcooked the eggs. Couldn't perform the traditional dipping of our toast! Some of us were sad.

But a few of us still enjoyed the fare!

We're working on "please."

After an egg bath for the kids (no modest pictures this year!), we were off to church.

Spencer was so beat after our morning of fun that he fell asleep in his daddy's arms during the opening hymn. A little Easter miracle =). And an un-captured picture that will live this mother's heart forever.

I really love that you bound the Little Lamb book for Lucy. What a treasure that will be for her.

So many comments...I LOVE Lucy's quilt on her bed! I also love her Easter dress. I've been wanting to read the Little Lamb story to my kids since Easter but didn't get to it until this morning. We loved it. Thank you so much for sharing. I've marked it in my Easter folder to read again next year, but I love the idea of having it in book form. I love that you put so much thought into having such a wonderful Easter.
