Spring & Easter, Etc: Spencer's Marshmallow Chick

"[Spencer] had a fuzzy yellow blanket." (Made with love and skill by my dear friend Brooke.)

"He'd had it since he was a baby."

"He loved it with all his heart."

"Na-na" went where Spencer went and liked what he liked. (Including blue lollipops.)

Spencer's first. Courtesy of big sister.

With all this yellow blanket business, it follows that we all have an affinity for Owen.
And it follows that this Easter we had an obsession with Owen's Marshmallow Chick.

So...the Easter Bunny just had to get a marshmallow chick for Spencer's Easter basket. (Even though nobody in our house even likes them).

"'My favorite,' [Spencer] said."

Marshmallow Chick was the only book we could NOT find when it was time to return the Easter library books. Lucy finally did find it (several days later), probably ruining Spencer's well thought out rent-to-own plan. Sorry, Pal!

We love Owen too... except that ours is (was) a fuzzy blue blanket. (It's not so fuzzy anymore).

I love that he's cuddling vs. eating the little yellow chick. Hilarious!
