Spontaneous Sleeping Beauty Party

One afternoon in September, I brought these three little princesses home after Kindergarten.

Our first hour and a half together was a blur of gowns and accessories.

Our second hour and a half: a flurry of flour and frosting.

(Note that perfect pink and black, wipe-able apron Kate's wearing.  My friend Emily made it. It's amazing and we love it!)

Pink and blue frosting, the girls suggested.  Like Sleeping Beauty's dress.

Grand finale:  popcorn ("Pink and blue bowels, please!") and a showing of said movie.

Three of the sweetest girls ever.
One of my favorite days ever.

Looks like a great day! Glad you were able to make use of the apron.

You are the best mom in the world. Wish I could be spontaneous like you. One day I will be more like you! :)

I would be smiling too, except for wondering where the two-yr-old 'Destroying Angel', Frog in disguise....or the 'engaging' PRINCE was hiding??? :)

Mom - Spencer was at Grandma T's playing with his little cousin. Not sure our afternoon would have been the same with him around =)
