Outward Appearances

(He wasn't crying about the hair.  But I kind of wanted to.)

He  looks fresh and good.
And about five million years older. =(
 But he's pleased as punch.
Said to me fifty times that day, "Mom, I love my haircut!"

Big sis tells me she's ready for a haircut too.
But I'm not sure she's very sincere.
She has such fun styling it every morning.
I lovingly called her Punky Brewster the other day.
She just looked at me in confusion.

(But the resemblance has been strong for a few years now.)

Oh he looks like a little man! I always let my boys' hair get too long and shaggy before I give them a haircut (mostly because I am lazy). I am always amazed at how much older and handsome they look with their freshly cut hair.

And I love your little Punky Brewster too :) Rich and I are always having to explain references to our boys... In fact, we must be getting old and out of touch because we have to explain them to the youth too!

Oh you have such cute wonderful kids!

I had to explain who the smurfs were to my sister last year... hmmm. :)

What a stud! I feel that way every time I cut Ryan's hair, he grows a few months in minutes!! It's just not fair that they do that. My mom used to tell me she was going to put a brick on my head if I kept growing... I'm beginning to understand that now. :)

Spencer looks SO grown up. I my mind I still picture him as that super chubby delicious baby. And I LOVE your little Punky Brewster. Miss you!
