MLK Day

Due to a fairly packed schedule, we did our annual MLK sledding at home.

Which was fun!
Until Lucy remembered that we don't usually do our annual MLK sledding at home.
She begged to go to a real hill.
I whined about having a cold.
She stomped her feet and threw her sled on the ground.
But we recovered.
And for family night we unpacked our Christmas toys.
Which have been in the trunk of our van since we got home three? weeks ago.
Because I'm lazy.

Remember how "sleds" today are way cooler than the cheap, plastic red ones we had as kids that would break and snap. Although I have no idea how good they really are, they just look like fun.

So we were in Provo sledding this weekend. Next time we are down there you will have to come with us. Rock Canyon Park is amazing but you probably already knew that.

Such good times can be had in so many places..... With a Mom who is expert in 'fun times', I could imagine the little toothless girl would soon return to her happy self. :)

I love that the Christmas gifts were still in the car. That's something I would do too :)
