What Does Your Heart Say?

That's right: Swish swish swish swish!

We're growing another little fish!

Our hearts are thump thump thumping with more happiness and anxious anticipation than you can imagine.

Even Lucy is starting to catch the vision. I happened upon her creating this masterpiece the other day:

For the untrained eye, a little assistance: from left to right, Lucy (note the curls) and Mom (note the straight hair and the exceedingly long toenails) with babe in arms.

SMILE.

Our hearts are assured that there is a God in heaven who works miracles.

Our hearts are so grateful for this miracle.

And let's pile on a little more good news to this post. Wes and I just (barely) read this email:

3/10/2008
Spencer Truman

Dear Spencer,
I am pleased to inform you that you have been admitted to Brigham Young University as a graduate student. We look forward to having you join us for your graduate studies and trust that your graduate experience will be both challenging and rewarding...

Interpretation: Wes was admitted to BYU's MPA program!!! We've been biting our nails and saying fervent prayers for MONTHS now!

Don't know if any hearts could be happier than ours today.

Congratulations!!! What great news! You might get a baby for your birthday, Lori! If I remember correctly, your birthday is right before mine...and heather's is right before yours! My mom saved the 1981 newspaper clipping of our birth announcements =). And...HOLY COW! You have a lot of fans of your blog! I've never seen so many comments on a blog!!!

LOVE the new quotes! Too too funny... and nice that Lucy thinks you guys kissing is good... William tells us that kissing is yucky.

lori said...

Thank you so much, friends!!!!!

Jeanine - does William already think it's gross?! That cracks me up!!

Wendy - we've often thought Lucy was a pretty talented little artist...but we're much more confident in your artistic opinion than in ours!
