Use it Up, Wear it Out, Make it do...?

Lucy had a pair of jeans with holes in both knees. I had a bunch of left over quilting fabric. So we turned something old into something new:

She was tickled about it. I was too! But. The skirt doesn't hold a candle to the face...

(These are the basic skirt instructions. I made Lu's skirt shorter and double layered. It was a fun, quick project! I highly recommend!)

Actually, the skirt is even cuter in person....as is the girl....AND the Seamstress. I can vouch for that.
You back???? Tried to call. Don't you realize you are supposed to check in with the rest of the world ............ or at least your mother! :) Love you

What can't you do Lori? I've often thought about learning to sew, but I think I've come to the realization that I probably never will. At least my mother-in-law does!
