I mentioned graduation, but I couldn't call myself a true mommy blogger if I didn't give you the play-by-play of my child's preschool career, now, could I?
Here we go!
The fun began with Back to School Night in August (above). Lucy entered Miss Midge's two room, basement preschool with big eyes and a shy smile. She left with a bright new backpack, and a big cookie. Starting off on the right foot, as they say.
She went confidently and excitedly to preschool pretty much everyday thereafter. And who can blame her? Sign me up for a curriculum of art and letters and snack time and songs!
For the first several months, Wiz Kidz were encouraged to dress according to a color of the day. Lucy embraced this opportunity with all her heart. "Head-to-toe" was the goal.
But dressing wasn't the only delight...
Book orders! (Oh, the nostalgia!)
The snack bucket...

(Which we generally forgot about until the morning of. Good thing for our little creamery!)
All About Me day...
(Lucy LOVED Miss Midge's tree swing.
And we all loved the fall apples from Miss Midge's backyard apple trees. Yum.)
(or snow!)
Preschool was a good time.
And I haven't even mentioned holiday fun:
Halloween
Why we were always late to school in October:
Favorite after school activity:

(playing in Cannon Center lockers)
Thanksgiving
Christmas
Caroling to the older neighbors on Miss Midge's street:
On the last day of class before Christmas, each Wiz Kid brought a book to exchange with a classmate.
Fun tradition, says me.
And that takes us to winter break!
Preschool Part 2 coming...someday.
If you're lucky! =)

Looks like a great preschool. So, so fun. And such gorgeous pictures!
Loving every minute and memory!!!
How fun! What a great way to chronicle her year. Can you send me an email with that schools info? I want to enroll Jocelyn. It's the same one that others in that ward went to, right?
I want to go to preschool next year! It looks like so much fun! I guess that's why I used to teach it :)
What a GREAT pre-school!
And I just can't get enough of that Lucy girl.
Loved the smiles, smiles, smiles on Lucy's face and Spencer's too!
