Friday Night: Fall Festival
Little Miss Dead-Eye:
She nailed two balloons! I was amazed!
The whole night was fun...swings and games and lots of familiar faces. And as dusk faded to dark, Lucy and I jumped in line for the famous Wasatch wagon ride: an unbelievably fun tradition. And a fun night all around.
Saturday Afternoon: Cougar Football
Here's the deal: we're fans win or lose.
But it's more fun to win. I distracted myself from the discouraging scoreboard by taking a million pictures of our really loyal little fans.
Then, Sunday Evening...
Our dear friend Elana invited us over for a feast, fresh from her gorgeous garden. She dotes on us like we were her own family and we love her (and her tricycle and her delicious fruit and her beautiful, thick Romanian accent).
Add one outstanding, uplifting, utterly inspiring General Relief Society Meeting into the mix (can you listen to President Monson without the overwhelmingly clear conviction that he is God's prophet on the earth??! What a beautiful, needed message!) and you pretty much have a perfect fall weekend.
(Exhausting! But perfect =)
