12 Days of Christmas Catch-Up: The Ninth Day of Christmas Miracle

Dear Christmas elves who delivered 12 days of  presents to our doorstep,
The poinsettia was lovely.

The books and trains and other treasures were delightful.

Truly wonderful.

But how did you know - how could you possibly have known - that on the ninth day of Christmas we were out of toilet paper?  That I had just hollered to Wes from the bathroom where I was helping Lucy:  "Guess what we forgot at the grocery store?!" and that he had just hollered back, "I'll walk to the creamery!"

Nine beautiful rolls.
Just what we needed.

 Wow.
THANK YOU, thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!

There were other sweet acts of service this season.  Too many to recount, really (which makes me crazy!!).  I will share one or two more things later this week.  And I really ought to show you the darling blankets my darling young women made:

We've been truly warmed by the many, many kindnesses shown to our little family.  We're so grateful for every one's love!

Inspiration comes in many 'useful' ways!! Good thinking secret elf! Loved the T.P. idea!
