Halloween (Pumpkin Patching)

I've been trying my best to check out local attractions.  Santaquin's Big Red Barn is a worthy spot to visit.

We went on possibly the coldest day of October.  (That's my steller planning for you!)

But it was nothing that couldn't be cured by a few turns around the maze and an apple cider doughnut in the warm barn.

It was a great time (wish we had bumped into you, Erica!). But even after checking "pumpkin patch" off the Halloween list, I couldn't help a trip to Pumpkinland.  Wes and I went almost every year.  And I have to admit that I haven't met a patch to best it yet! (Maybe I'm just sentimental.)

We put the pumpkins on our porch (but we never carved them!  Shhhhhh!  Don't remind my kids!!)

Fun! We never carved our pumpkins either! They are still sitting on our porch. All I really want to do is cut them open so that I can roast the seeds! Mmm....

I love the Red Barn. They used to be one of our clients when I worked for money :) and I enjoyed meandering in there on client visit days. You got some great photos of it.

I'm glad you're able to get out and about and explore again. It's like nothing's changed yet everything has changed. Reminds me of Dickens'- "It was the best of times, it was the worst of times." Love you!
