Our girl...

Now looks like this...
...and is drinking all liquids with a straw.
I love her.
You may recall that when she lost her first tooth, she didn't want to put it under her pillow until she had showed it off to all the world.
For the first week or so, I asked her every night, "Are you ready?"
"No," she always said.
"Maybe if you write a note, she'll leave a prize and let you keep the tooth!"
Nope.
Whatever! I thought, and started asking only every week or so.
"Do you want to put your tooth under your pillow tonight?!!!!" I queried one evening.
"Oh," Lucy said with a sudden shadow of confusion, "I did a couple nights ago. But she didn't come."
Right.
I tell you what, toothfairying is tricky business around here!!

Hopefully Lucy is not so sneaky about putting her tooth under her pillow this time! Love that girl.
That is too funny! Benjamin was all indignant this year because Santa didn't bring him "anything he asked for." Well, maybe if someone had showed his mom his letter to Santa, she would have been able to help the guy out.
Cute! Yeah, the tooth fairy may have forgotten a time or two at our house. :)
