It was a fun time, sandwiched in the middle of two full parent-teacher-conference days. So our festivities were minimal.
So no great loss, I guess =)
These big girls were ready to race off on their own. So grown up. But I did my best to stay on their heels. I'm not ready to give them up yet. =)
After all the fun in the church parking lot, we made the usual trick or treating rounds...
before coming home to count and sort...
...and sleep!

Lori, I have left a couple of comments previously, and just wanted you to know how much I appreciate your efforts to stay the course, and your willingness to share the journey with us. I know how busy you must be with the new twist your life has taken, but I felt prompted to let you know about an LDS widows and widowers support group on Facebook. I'm not sure if you are even on Facebook, but if you are, this group has been a good resource for myself and many others. If you are interested, you can send a message to myself (Cindy Olive) or to the "LDS Widows & Widowers" group on Facebook and a group administrator will add you. As mentioned in the "about" page, it's targeted for w/w age 20ish to 50ish, and is not a "singles" group. There are some members who have remarried who remain and share insights, but in general, the members are in various stages of the journey and share helpful perspectives. It's a very low key way to access a wide range of potential support, and I just wanted to make you aware of it if you were not already familiar with it. Thanks again for your faithfulness and good luck with your class this year.
Ok, that picture of Spencer by the tree is a classic. You need to print an 8x10 of that one. What a great cowboy pose. And Lucy is the most darling little Indian--love those braids!
Love to see these big grown up kids! How can it be that they have grown so much!
So glad the Trumans had a happy Halloween. Sure love you guys. :)
They look great! And that individual picture of Spencer doing the cowboy pose? Oh my word. That kid is adorable.
